Read-only by design

The connector cannot edit properties, submit or delete sitemaps, request indexing, transfer ownership, or access your Google password. Search Analytics may return top rows rather than every possible query row.

Troubleshooting

The authorization request expired: Return to Codex and start one fresh connection attempt. Use only the newest authorization page.
Authorization succeeded but no tools appear: Start a new Codex task so the connector tool list can refresh, then ask it to list your GSC properties.
A property is missing: Confirm that the Google account you authorized already has access to that property in Search Console.
